2014 Legislative Cracker Barrel – Coffee Sessions

2014 Legislative Cracker Barrel – Coffee Sessions

Not everyone can make a trip to Pierre to have a conversation with your legislator. Legislative Coffees and Cracker Barrels are opportunities to visit with your area legislators face to face and close to home. Along with letters, phone calls, and emails, this is another tool to ask questions, present information to your legislator, and find out what they are thinking about an issue. They are free and open to the public. The format is a bit different in each location. Please wear RED to visually let your legislators know you are there to ask them to STOP COMMON CORE in SD. This also helps us connect and network with one another, especially at larger events. Remember, we don’t have a lobbyist taking care of this for us in Pierre. We all need to connect with them personally, while uniting with one another to make our voices heard. You are making a difference! Your presence is impressive to the legislators. The reach of our email lists are limited. Please forward through your networks and post on your social media sites.
