Five of the twenty-nine people on the Common Core Validation Committee refused to sign off on the Common Core Standards. Dr. Sandra Stotsky, one of the nation’s leading English Language Arts content experts was one of those five.
On October 16, 2013, Dr. Stotsky testified at a legislative hearing in Fon du Lac, Wisconsin against the implementation of the Common Core Standards.
