We urge your attendance at this important meeting. Speakers as of this writing are Mary Scheel-Buysee, South Dakotans Against Common Core, and Representative Jim Bolin.
No less a personage than Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan, has recently attempted to marginalize those voices organizing against Common Core. If we expect South Dakotans to rise above Duncan’s level, we must engage in an open and honest discussion. The concerns which have led other states to drop or pause Common Core and which will affect our Children’s education must not be ignored.
