Last week on Facebook we asked you to contact Senators Thune and Johnson with regards to co-signing Senator Chuck Grassley’s letter to the Appropriations Committee. In this letter he outlined the reasons the Common Core Standards, in relation to federal funding are illegal and is requesting that they prohibit future funding for the Common Core State Standards, their assessments, and the assessment review panel that was recently launched.

Here is a copy of that letter, with the signatures of 9 senators. Please note that Senator Thune’s and Senator Johnson’s signatures are not on the letter.
